Scheduling your interview

When you are setting up your interview, be as prompt as possible when communicating back and forth with our campus team. We want to make sure we are getting you the best flights and hotel accommodations for your schedule, and quick email responses help us make that happen.

Planning ahead

We will send final details about your on-site interview, there’s no need to worry. We will send an e-mail the week of your on-site interview with everything you need to know. You will have clear information about when to arrive at our office, how long you should expect to be there each day, what to wear, and what to bring. You will see your interview schedule when you arrive at the DRW office on your first day. All travel information, such as flights or hotel reservations, will be communicated to you earlier.

What to expect

DRW has a casual environment, so no need to wear a suit – business casual is fine. Your final round may include several back to back interviews. If you’re interviewing for a developer role, we recommend studying up on advanced computer science concepts as the questions will go in-depth. For quantitative trading roles, be prepared to talk about what has been going on in the markets. If you’re applying to be a quantitative researcher, be ready to discuss your research and publications in detail.

Although our on-site interviews are mostly technical, it’s also a great opportunity for you to get to know the people who could be your future teammates. Everyone who you come into contact with could be a future coworker, so take a moment to get to know them. Lastly, make sure to get a good night’s sleep before, and leave plenty of time to get yourself ready for the day ahead. Best of luck!
