Reaching new heights in Dallas

5 questions with the Director of Development of Convexity Properties, Jeremy Kerman...who is celebrating the rollout of Eastline Residences as part of the new Eastline District--and setting his sights on what's to come for this burgeoning part of Dallas, TX.

Can you tell us more about the inception of Eastline District?

Development is definitely on the rise here. We started with one piece of the puzzle and then began looking at how everything could all come together to plan for the future. We renovated the Magnolia, converting it into The Beeman Hotel, which was a couple of years in the works, and now we are getting ready to deliver the first portion of the residential building. The initial purchase was the office building and the vacant land that surrounded the area, which is essentially what creates Eastline District. It's very exciting that we get to create a district and see it come to life.

How did Dallas first get on your radar?

Dallas is a great market that we saw as an opportunity for an active lifestyle. There are a lot of live, work and play variables that are included here.
